Golden Dune Camp & Resorts

We spend most of our time out here on Jethwai Road trying to keep the desert sand from getting into everything. It is a constant battle when you are running a place like Golden Dune Camp & Resorts. We are located right at Navkhunia, just opposite the Kishan Ghat. Most days it is quiet until the sun starts to go down. The camp isn't one of those big fancy corporate hotels you see in the cities. It’s more of a practical setup for people who want to see the dunes without too much fuss. We deal with the usual daily stuff like checking the water tanks and making sure the kitchen is ready for whoever might show up. The wind out here can be really strong sometimes, which makes keeping the tents tidy a bit of a chore, but we manage. Our staff mostly comes from the nearby areas, so we all know the roads and the weather pretty well. We don't have a big office or a front desk with a phone that rings all day. It’s mostly just us and the open space. If the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just light some lamps and carry on. We keep a good supply of tea ready because that is usually the first thing people ask for when they arrive after a long drive. It is a simple life out here near the ghat, and we just focus on keeping the place running.
