We are based out in Khuri, near the Sadar Thana area. Being in Khuri means we are a bit further out from the main city of Jaisalmer, closer to the big dunes. The office is at Q.V-7, Cid. It's a quiet spot compared to the city center. We spend a lot of time talking to the local camel owners and jeep drivers. Most of the people who come to see us are looking for a way to get out into the sand for a night or two. We have a simple setup here. It’s mostly about coordinating the trips and making sure the vehicles are in good shape for the rough roads. The sun is very strong out here, so we usually take a break in the middle of the day when it’s too hot for anyone to be moving. We know the people in the village well. If someone needs a guide or a ride back to town, they usually come find us at this address. We don't use much technology. A lot of our business is done through talking and making notes in a thick ledger. It works for us. The desert is a big place and things can change fast with the wind and the weather, so we stay prepared. We’ve been at this location for a while. It’s a practical office for a practical job. We just keep things running as best as we can every day for everyone.
