Yogesh Gents Saloon

Our place is Shop No G23 in the Aashirwad Complex over in Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur. It’s pretty close to Biyani College, so we see a lot of students coming through, especially right before their exams or when they have some kind of event going on. The address is 302039 if you are looking it up. The shop itself is simple. We have the usual chairs and the big mirrors that have been there since we opened. Jaipur gets really hot in the summer, so the fans are always running at full speed. You can hear the traffic from the street outside, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of the clippers and maybe some chatting. We aren’t doing anything fancy here at Yogesh Gents Saloon. It’s just a place to get your hair cut or a shave without any fuss. I usually have a cup of tea sitting on the counter that I forget to drink because someone walked in. The neighbors from the other shops in the complex stop by to talk about the weather or how the day is going. It’s a small space, but we make it work. We keep the towels clean and the scissors sharp, and that’s about it. People know us as the local spot near the college. It feels like home after being here for so long. We just open up, do the work, and go home when the sun goes down. There is always a lot to do, but we like the pace here.
