Yogesh Gent Parlour

Our shop is at Shop Number G-23 in the Ashirwad Complex, which is part of the Central Spine in Vidhyadhar Nagar. It’s a big complex with many other shops and offices, so there are always people moving about. We are located on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just wander in while they are out. The parlor has a very traditional feel to it. We have the heavy chairs that lean back for shaves and some smaller ones for the kids who come in. There are mirrors all along the main wall so people can see what’s happening with their hair. We keep our tools in small drawers under the counters to keep things tidy. The lighting is a bit dim because of where we are in the building, but we have some extra lamps to help us see. We mostly do haircuts and shaves for men who work nearby or live in the apartments around Central Spine. There’s a water cooler in the corner for anyone who is thirsty. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people seeing our sign and coming in. Sometimes the building can get a bit noisy with all the other businesses, but inside we just focus on the hair. It’s a straightforward shop for a straightforward job. We’ve been in this complex for a good while and have seen many shops change.
