If you’re near Metro Pillar Number 69 in Jaipur, you’re pretty close to where we are. We are located in Galli Number 2, right around Katewa Nagar and Damodhar Path. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but once you find us, it’s easy enough to remember. We’ve been cutting hair here for a while. The shop is a simple place. We don't have any of those fancy reclining chairs or expensive decorations. We just have what we need to get the job done. Jaipur can get incredibly hot in the summer months, so we try to keep the fans going as much as possible. A lot of people from the Gurjar Ki Thadi area stop by on their way to or from work. We get to know the people who live around here pretty well. It’s a busy neighborhood with bikes and rickshaws always going past the door. Sometimes we just sit outside when there aren't many customers and watch the traffic. We do regular haircuts and shaves, nothing too fancy. Most guys just want to look decent for work or a wedding. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people knowing we are here. It’s a quiet, steady kind of life. We like being part of the community on Damodhar Path. We take things one day at a time in this shop.
