You can find Womens Care Herbal Beauty Parlour over on Rajat Path, at 61/173 in the Mansarovar area. We call ourselves a herbal parlour because we really like using things that are natural, like rose water or the sandalwood paste that we mix up ourselves in the back room. It smells really nice in here most of the time, not like those strong chemical smells you get in the bigger places. The shop isn't very big, but we have enough space for the essentials. We have a few plants sitting by the window that we try to keep alive, though the afternoon sun is quite strong there. People come to us when they want something a bit gentler on their skin. We do a lot of facials and hair packs using old recipes that have been around for a long time. It is a slow process, so you can't be in a rush when you come here. We like it that way because it gives everyone a chance to breathe and talk. The chairs are old wood and they creak a little, but they are sturdy enough. We spend a lot of time cleaning up the bowls and brushes we use. Mansarovar is a big place, but our little corner on Rajat Path feels very local. We just keep doing our thing, mixing our herbs and helping everyone feel refreshed.
