Our shop is number six in the Shivam Apartment building over in Vidhyadhar Nagar. We’re quite close to the National Handloom at the Central Spine, which is a big landmark around here. It’s a lively area, especially in the evenings when people are out shopping and walking around. The apartment building is mostly residential, so we try to keep things relatively quiet during the day, though that’s hard when we’re moving equipment in and out. Our space is functional, mostly filled with the tools and supplies we need for our daily tasks. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a magazine, but it works for us. We spend a lot of our time planning out the logistics for the different jobs we take on. It’s a lot of list-making and double-checking everything. The people here are straightforward and hard-working. We don’t really go in for big speeches or marketing talk. We just tell people what we can do and then we go out and do it. Living and working in Vidhyadhar Nagar has its perks, like being close to everything, but it also means dealing with the crowds. We’ve become a bit of a fixture in this little corner of the building. Most of our neighbors know us by now. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work at hand.
