A K Dyeing & Tent Works

Over at Vikas Nagar 109 on Sikar Road, you’ll find us, A K Dyeing & Tent Works. We do exactly what the name says. The dyeing part of the business keeps us pretty busy, especially with local fabrics and clothes that need a bit of new life. Then there’s the tent side of things. If there’s a local event or a small function happening around here, we’re usually the ones lugging poles and fabric around to set things up. It’s hard work, especially when the weather isn’t cooperating, but it’s what we’ve been doing for years. Our workshop isn't anything special to look at, just a place filled with vats, dyes, and stacks of folded tents. We’ve been based here on Sikar Road for a long time now. Most of our neighbors know us by sight. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on getting the colors right or making sure the tents stay up in the wind. Sometimes the dye gets on our hands and stays there for days, but that's just part of the job. We see a lot of people coming in for weddings or family gatherings. It feels good to be part of the community’s big moments, even if we’re just the ones providing the shade and the seating. We keep it simple and try to be fair with everyone who stops by. We aren't fancy, but we know how to handle fabric and heavy canvas better than most.
