White Beauty Salon is tucked away in Jhotwara at Yugdutt Market, specifically F/2. It is a lively spot to have a shop. The market gets quite packed in the evenings when everyone is out doing their daily shopping. We have been in this space for a bit, and we have gotten to know the other shopkeepers around us pretty well. Our place isn't very large, but we have arranged the mirrors and stools so it doesn't feel too cramped when customers are inside. We do all the regular stuff like threading, waxing, and hair trims. Most of the ladies from the neighborhood come here because it is convenient and we are used to their styles. We do not put up a lot of posters or anything like that. Just the name on the glass. Sometimes the lights flicker when the grid is overloaded, but we just carry on with the work. My sister helps me out on Saturdays because that is when everyone wants their hair done for weddings or parties. We keep a big jug of water in the corner for anyone who is thirsty. The fans are always running because it gets quite hot in Jhotwara during the summer months. It is a plain shop, honestly. No velvet curtains or anything. We just focus on getting the work done so people can get back to their day. It feels good to be part of the Yugdutt Market community after all this time.
