You can find us at Shop Number 232 on the 80 Feet Road in Mahesh Nagar. We are pretty close to the Talwariya Marriage Garden, which is a big landmark around here. During wedding season, things get really hectic because of all the guests staying nearby, but normally it’s just the local guys from the neighborhood coming in. It’s a gents parlour, so it’s a simple setup—just the chairs, the razors, and the mirrors. I’ve spent a lot of years in this shop, and the walls have seen a lot of conversations about the weather, cricket, and whatever else is happening in Jaipur. The shop is small, but it’s ours. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know how to handle a pair of scissors. Sometimes the 80 Feet Road gets really dusty, so we are always wiping down the counters and cleaning the tools. It’s not a fancy place where you get served coffee, but you’ll get a decent haircut and a bit of a chat if you’re in the mood. We open up early and stay until the last customer is done in the evening. It’s a straightforward life for us. Being near the marriage garden means we see a lot of new faces, but the regulars are the ones who keep the place going. It’s just a honest, local barbershop where men can come to look a bit sharper and feel human again.
