Our shop is right on the New Sanganer Road in Sodala, which is one of the busiest spots you could find. There’s always a sound of horns and engines coming in from the street. At Vishal Video Electronics & Mobile Assessories, we have wires and chargers hanging from almost every hook on the walls. It’s a bit of a maze of cables and phone cases once you step inside. We spend most of our time looking at small screens or trying to figure out why a certain cable isn't working right. People come in all day with broken things or asking for a specific type of connector we might have buried in a drawer somewhere. The lighting inside is quite bright so we can see the small parts we work with. We don’t really have a back room, so everything happens right there in front of the customers. It gets messy with all the packaging and bits of tape, but we try to keep the main glass counter clean. There’s a tea stall nearby that brings us something hot twice a day, which is usually the highlight of the afternoon for us. Dealing with electronics means things are always changing, but the location here in Sodala stays the same. It’s a small shop but it’s ours and we’ve been here long enough to know all the neighbors. Sometimes the road is so loud we can't even hear the music on the radio.
