Vinayak Hair Art

Vinayak Hair Art is located at Shop Number E 5 on N.S Road in the Sodala area. We are right across the street from the Corporation Bank, which makes us pretty easy to spot if you are walking or driving by. Sodala is a very busy part of Jaipur with lots of traffic and people moving around all the time. Our shop is just a small space on the ground floor where we spend our days cutting hair and doing shaves. It gets quite loud with the buses and cars on N.S Road, but inside we just focus on the customers. We have a few older chairs and a big mirror that covers most of one wall. Most of the people who come in are workers from the nearby offices or residents who have lived in Sodala for a long time. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just the ceiling fans that hum all day long. The bank across the road is a good landmark for people who haven't visited us before. We open up early and stay until the street lights come on. There is always a bit of tea being shared and talk about the news of the day. We don't try to be anything other than a neighborhood barber shop where you can get a decent cut for a fair price. It’s a honest way to earn a living in the city. We have been at Shop E 5 for years now.
