Vinayak Crafts

Vinayak Crafts is located in Raisar Plaza at S-72, right in the middle of Indra Bazar. Being in a plaza means there is always a lot of foot traffic and people peeking through the windows. Our shop is not very large, so we have to use every inch of wall space to hang up our crafts. It is a bit of a squeeze when more than two people come in at once. We spend our time dusting the shelves and rearranging the items so everything fits. We do not have a corporate headquarters or a fancy office suite. It is just this one shop where we do everything from sales to packing. The lighting is a bit dim in the back, but we have a small desk there where we keep our records. Indra Bazar is a very busy place, so there is always noise from the street and the other shops nearby. We do not have a formal way of doing things. If someone comes in, we chat with them and show them what we have made recently. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when the shop is quiet and watch the shoppers go by. We do not use any marketing tricks to get people inside. We just keep the door open and stay busy with our work. It is a small, local operation and we like it that way. We have been in Raisar Plaza for a while and know all the other shopkeepers.
