Vinayak Arts And Exports is located at 597 Vivek Vihar, over in the Shayam Nagar Extension area. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads, which actually helps us get more done without too many distractions. We’ve been operating from this location for some time, and it has become a second home for most of us who work here. Our day starts early, usually with a lot of noise as we get the workshop going. We handle a lot of different art pieces and export items, so there’s always something being wrapped in bubble wrap or put into a box. It isn’t the most glamorous work, and my hands are usually a bit dirty by lunch, but it’s what we do. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. Most people find out about us through word of mouth or because they saw our crates being loaded onto a truck. We try to be honest about how long things take to make. If a piece isn't ready, we won't pretend it is just to be nice. The space in Vivek Vihar is big enough for our tools and the raw materials we use, but it gets crowded when we have a big order going out. We just keep our heads down and focus on the craft. It's a real business run by real people who care about the finished product.
