Rex Impex Pvt. Ltd. is based on the third floor of Shubhlaxmi Tower. It is in Central Spine, Sector 6, over in Vidhyadhar Nagar. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of exercise since the elevator is sometimes slow or out of service. Our office is unit T-5. It is a decent space for what we do every day. We deal with import and export stuff constantly. It is mostly sitting at desks and making sure the numbers match up on the invoices. The view from the window isn’t much, just other buildings and the street below, but it lets in some light. We have been in this tower for a few years now. The hallway outside can be quiet or loud depending on who is visiting the other offices on our floor. We have our usual routines. Morning tea, checking emails, and then the long process of coordinating with different agencies. It is not always exciting, but it is the work we know how to do. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up when it gets really hot outside, so we just open a window and keep going. We are not a big corporation with thousands of employees. It is just a handful of us making sure things move from one place to another. We do not have a big reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you will just see us working. We try to keep things simple.
