Nehal Exim

Our unit for Nehal Exim is located right in the middle of the Riico Industrial Area, specifically in the garment zone at H-1/68. If you know this part of town, you know it’s always loud with the sound of trucks and machinery going all day long. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time now, working with fabrics and all the stuff that goes into making clothes for export. The air usually smells like steam and new cloth. It’s a big space but it feels small when we have a lot of orders piled up. We have a lot of workers coming in and out in shifts, so the place never really stays quiet. During lunch hours, everyone sits outside near the gates to get a bit of fresh air. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in the industrial area, just trying to keep up with the work we have. Sometimes the power goes out and we all have to wait around, which is just part of being in this zone. We don’t have a fancy reception or anything like that. If you walk in, you’ll likely see rolls of fabric stacked up to the ceiling and people busy at their stations. It’s hard work, and the days go by pretty fast when we’re trying to meet a deadline. This is just another one of the many businesses trying to make a go of it here in the garment zone, and we’re okay with that.
