Vedanta School

Our school is tucked away on Raniwara Road in Sanchore. It is right there on the State Highway Lane, so it is pretty easy for people to find us even if they aren't from this specific part of Jalore. We started Vedanta School because there was a need for a place like this in the neighborhood. It is not a huge campus, but we make the most of the space we have. Every day is different here. Some days are quiet and focused, while others are full of activities that keep us all on our toes. We have a mix of staff members who really care about what they do. They aren't just here for a paycheck; they actually like working with the kids. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It is just teaching and learning. The building needs a bit of paint here and there, but inside, the classrooms are full of energy. We see a lot of dust because of the location, but that is just part of living in this area. Parents from around Sanchore know us as a place where they can just walk in and talk to us if they have a concern. We don't have a lot of complicated rules. We just try to keep things running smoothly so the kids can get through their grades. It’s a practical place for practical people. The State Highway can be loud, but we've gotten used to the sound of vehicles passing by. We have a small courtyard for the morning assembly. It’s nothing like those big city schools, but it works. We have a few computers, though they are a bit slow sometimes. The staff drinks tea together and we talk about helping students who are struggling. We just put up charts the kids made in class. It feels more real that way.
