A Public School

We are located at 15-C-64 in Shanti Colony, which is right opposite the Jaipur Airport. Because of where we are, you can often hear the planes taking off and landing throughout the day, which the kids actually seem to enjoy. The school building is a fairly simple structure with a playground that gets quite a lot of use during the breaks. We have been part of this community for a while now. The classrooms are basic with wooden desks and chalkboards, and there is always a bit of noise from the hallways during the passing periods. It is a local place where parents from the colony and nearby areas bring their children every morning. We don't have fancy high-tech labs or anything like that, just the essentials for learning. The garden area near the entrance needs a bit of work, but we try to keep it green when the weather allows. Morning assembly is usually held out in the open space, and it can get quite warm under the Rajasthan sun. Teachers can often be seen sitting in the staff room with a cup of tea between their classes. It is a very grounded environment without any of the big corporate school vibes. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the children are safe and doing their work. It is just a normal, neighborhood school where everyone knows each other’s names and things are done in a traditional way.
