About Daffodil Public School – Education in Jaipur
Daffodil Public School is located on Durga Marg in Bani Park, which is one of the older, nicer parts of Jaipur. The school is at D-149, and it feels more like an old home than some big institution. We have these old-style metal gates and a bit of greenery out front that we try to keep alive. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, except when school starts or ends for the day. You can hear the kids laughing all the way from the street. Inside, the rooms are a bit cramped because it’s an older building, but we make it work. We have wooden desks that have been scratched by generations of students who have passed through here. The principal’s office is right near the entrance, and you can usually hear the phone ringing or people talking. We don't have a giant sports field, but the kids find enough space to play tag during the lunch hour in the small courtyard. It’s a very neighborhood-focused school. Most children walk here from the houses nearby. The teachers are mostly local people who have lived in Bani Park for a long time. We don’t use much in the way of high technology, just the basics like chalk and notebooks. Sometimes the monkeys from the trees nearby come over and cause a bit of a stir, but that’s just part of living in this part of town. It’s a practical place for kids to get their basic learning. We keep it very simple and honest. No big promises, just daily lessons.
