Vasundhara Media Pvt Ltd is situated right in the heart of Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is a city that never really stays quiet, and our office is part of that daily hum. Working in media here means we are always tuned into what’s happening around the state, but we try to keep our actual workplace fairly low-key. We don't have a big flashy sign or anything like that. It’s more of a functional space where the desks are usually covered in newspapers, notes, and old coffee cups. The heat in Rajasthan can be pretty intense during the summer months, so our air conditioning gets a real workout while we are sitting there typing or making calls. We are just a group of people who know the local area well and have been doing this for a while. There is no dress code or anything formal like that; we just show up and get through the list of things that need doing for the day. Sometimes we stay late when there is a deadline, and other times we are out of the door as soon as the sun starts to go down. The neighborhood has all the usual Jaipur charm, with the sounds of the street coming through the windows even when they are shut. We like being centrally located because it makes it easier to meet people, even if parking can be a bit of a nightmare. It is just a regular Jaipur office where we handle our media business.
