Vastu Architects

Our office is located at R-18, Sahdev Marg in the C Scheme area of Jaipur. We’re quite close to Yojana Bhawan, which makes us pretty easy to find. We operate under the name Vastu Architects. Being in C Scheme means we are right in the heart of the city, which is convenient for everyone. Our days aren't spent behind big mahogany desks; usually, we’re hunched over drafting tables or out at a construction site checking on things. Architecture is a lot of work that people don't see, like checking local building rules and making sure the plumbing makes sense. We try to keep our approach very down-to-earth. When someone comes to us with an idea for a building or a renovation, we listen first. We don't try to push any particular style on them. It’s their space, after all. We deal with the blueprints, the permits, and the constant back-and-forth with contractors. It can be a bit stressful when deadlines are tight, but we’ve been doing this long enough to stay calm. Our workspace is usually a mess of rolled-up papers and coffee mugs, which is how we like it. We focus on making sure a building is solid and does what it’s supposed to do. No fluff, just honest design and planning for the folks here in Jaipur. We’ve seen the city grow and change, and we’re just glad to be a small part of it. It’s hard work, but we wouldn’t want to be doing anything else.
