We are based at B-22-24 in Bhagwati Nagar-1, right in the Kartarpura area. It’s a busy part of town, and our office reflects that. We do both architecture and Vastu consulting, which means we look at buildings from a couple of different angles. Some people really care about the directions and the energy of a space, and others just want to know where the bathroom goes. We handle both. The office is usually full of maps and compasses along with the usual architectural tools. It’s a mix of old traditions and modern building techniques. We don't try to overcomplicate things for people. We just sit down with them and look at their plot. We might suggest moving a door or changing the layout of a room to make things feel better according to Vastu. It’s a lot of talking and explaining why we suggest certain things. The team here is pretty relaxed. We wear comfortable clothes because we’re often out on construction sites getting dusty. We’ve been in Kartarpura for a while, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change and grow. It’s a lot of work keeping up with all the projects, but we just take it one step at a time. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We try to be as helpful as we can with every person who walks through our door at Bhagwati Nagar.
