Khadya Vastu Bhandar

We are Khadya Vastu Bhandar, located at 317 in Johari Bazar. This place is mostly about grains, pulses, and the basic stuff people need for their kitchens every day. Johari Bazar is a famous spot, but our shop is just a simple place for regular food items. The bags of flour and rice take up most of the room. It smells like spices and earth in here, which I guess is normal for a grain store. We spend our days weighing out portions and talking to housewives and cooks who come in for their weekly supplies. It’s dusty work sometimes, but it’s what we know. We don't have a website or anything like that. Just the shop at 317. People know they can come here for honest weights and decent prices. We’ve been in this spot for years, watching the tourists walk by while we serve the locals. It’s a steady life. Sometimes the morning rush is a bit much, but we get through it. We aren't a big supermarket, just a local bhandar where you get what you need for your meals. The wooden counters have been here longer than I have and they've seen a lot of business. We keep the ledger by hand and don't bother with much else. It's a quiet way to make a living in a loud market.
