Kalptaru Jyotish Vastu Anusandhan Kendra

The Kalptaru Jyotish Vastu Anusandhan Kendra is located at S 2 in the Indira Bazar area, right near Johari Bazar. Being in the heart of the old market means there is never a dull moment. The streets are always full of tourists, shoppers, and cows. Our little space is tucked away in the S 2 building. It is a small shop but it has been here for a long time. People come in to talk about their houses or their futures, and we just listen and give them whatever advice we have based on the old ways. We don't have any fancy computer programs or light shows. It is just a desk, some old books, and a few chairs for visitors to sit on. The air smells like incense and old paper most of the time. Working in Indira Bazar means you have to get used to the noise of the rickshaws and the shouting of the vendors outside. We are used to it by now. It is a very traditional place and we don't try to change that. Most of our visitors are people who have been coming to us for years or their children who were told to find us. We don't do any advertising. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait to see who stops by. It is a simple life and we are happy to be part of the history of this market area.
