Vastravidhya Enterprises Private Limited is based out of A-23 Lotus Villa in the Jagatpura area of Jaipur. Jagatpura has changed a lot lately with all the new buildings coming up, but our spot at Lotus Villa feels pretty settled. It’s a decent-sized place for what we do. Inside, it looks more like a busy workshop than a corporate office. We have clothes and fabric samples spread out over almost every surface. It can be hard to find a place to put your tea cup down sometimes because there is so much going on. Rajasthan is a great place for a textile business like ours, and being in Jaipur means we are right in the middle of everything. We don't have a big HR department or a marketing team. It’s just a few of us who handle the day-to-day operations of Vastravidhya Enterprises. The atmosphere is pretty casual; we don't wear suits or anything like that. Usually, the windows are open to catch a breeze, though that brings in the Jaipur dust too. We’ve got a lot of work to do most days, so we don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. It’s a functional space where we can focus on the garments. We like the Jagatpura area because it’s easy for the staff to get to and it’s not as congested as the old city. It’s just a normal place where we do our work.
