Myesha India

Myesha India is situated on Gandhi Path in Vaishali Nagar. It’s a lively part of town to be in. We started this because we had an interest in clothes and things that people wear every day. The shop isn't overly complicated. We have racks and some shelves where we put out the latest things we have found or made. Gandhi Path has a lot of traffic, so there is always something happening outside the window. We spend our mornings unpacking boxes and steaming out wrinkles. It’s just a few of us working here. We don't use a lot of fancy technology to track things; we mostly use a notebook and our own eyes. People drop in while they are out doing their other shopping. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. If someone wants to try something on, they can, and if they just want to look around, that’s fine too. We don't follow people around the store. Vaishali Nagar is a good place for a business like this because people care about what they look like when they go out. We've learned a lot about what the locals like over the years. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded when a new shipment arrives, but we manage. It is a local business run by people who live nearby, and we just take it one day at a time.
