Vast Exports

We are based out of 196, Shri Gopal Nagar, right near the Gopalpura Bye-Pass. It’s a handy location because the trucks can get to us easily enough, though the traffic on the bypass can be a real headache sometimes. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and packing materials. We spend a lot of time wrapping things up and making sure the labels are on straight. It’s not glamorous work. There are usually a few of us around, drinking chai and figuring out the shipping schedules. The floor is concrete and stays a bit chilly in the winter months. We’ve got a lot of crates piled up towards the back. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the manifests. We don’t have a big fancy showroom. If someone comes by, they usually just see us in our work clothes moving things around. It’s a bit loud with the road noise outside, but you get used to it after a while. We started small and just stayed in this same spot. It works for what we do. We try to stay organized, but when a big shipment is going out, the whole place turns into a bit of a mess for a few hours. That’s just part of the business. We keep going until the job is finished. The nearby tea stall knows our order by heart. It is just a regular work day for us every day.
