Our office is located at 67-68 Saraogi Mansion on M I Road. This building has a lot of history, and you can feel it in the hallways and the high ceilings. Being on M I Road means there is always a lot of noise from the traffic and the tourists walking by. We’ve got a couple of rooms here that we’ve filled with our stuff over time. It’s a bit of a maze once you get inside because of how we’ve arranged the shelving and the desks. We don’t have a fancy entrance or any polished floors. It’s more of a place where things are constantly moving. We spend a lot of time on our feet, going between the different rooms to check on things. The windows are old and sometimes rattle when a big bus goes by outside. We’ve grown attached to the place though. It’s got character. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background to keep things lively while we work. It’s not a quiet, sterile office environment at all. There’s always someone talking or the sound of tape being pulled off a roll. We just handle things as they come and try to keep the piles of fabric from getting too high. It’s a busy, lived-in space that works for us. We might get around to fixing the door handle one day, but for now, you just have to give it a hard push.
