Univers Tuition Classes

Down here on Maharana Pratap Marg, things stay pretty active throughout the day. Univers Tuition Classes is tucked away near Rangoli Garden in the Panchyawala area of Jaipur. It is just a regular spot where kids from the nearby colonies come after their school hours are over. We have been in this part of town for a bit, so we see a lot of the same faces walking by. The classroom is not anything special to look at, just enough chairs for everyone and some whiteboards that usually have a lot of writing on them by the end of the evening. We deal with various subjects depending on what the students need help with at the time. Sometimes it is math, other times it is something else. The traffic outside can get a bit loud near the garden, but we are used to it by now. It feels like a small community here. We do not do much in terms of decoration; we just keep the books organized and make sure there is enough markers for the day. Students often drop in with their doubts, and we just sit down and try to figure things out together. It is a very hands-on kind of place. Most of our day is spent talking through lessons or checking homework. It is a simple life, helping the neighborhood kids keep up with their schoolwork without making a big fuss about it. We just open up and let the work happen.
