Our office is down in the basement of Shri Gopal Apartment, which is D-238 on Bihari Mg in Bani Park. Being in a basement means it stays a little cooler than the street level, which is nice when the Jaipur sun is beating down outside. It’s a bit of a quiet spot, even though Bani Park is a central area. You walk down a short flight of concrete stairs to get to us. The apartment building itself is quite established, so everyone around here knows it. At Ultimate Career Moments, we have a simple layout with some partitions to separate the work areas. The light comes in from some small high windows near the ceiling. It’s not a fancy corporate office; we have mismatched chairs and a few desks that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through stacks of paperwork. The walls are a plain off-white, and there is a faint smell of old paper and ink in the air. Sometimes you can hear the footsteps of people walking on the sidewalk above us. We have a small kettle for making tea in the afternoons. It’s a quiet, tucked-away place where we just get on with our daily tasks without much fuss. We don’t have a big sign outside, just enough for people to know they’ve reached the right basement for their needs.
