Chopras

So, we are over at MI Road, right in the middle of all the bustle. If you know the Raymond showroom, we are just opposite that in the Mukhija Chamber at G-4. It’s a busy spot, to be honest. There is always someone walking by or a car honking out on the main road. Chopras has been in this little corner for a bit, and we’ve seen the street change quite a lot over the years. Inside the shop, things are a bit cramped because we have a lot of stuff tucked away on shelves, but that is just how it is when you’re in a central area like this. We don’t really do the whole fancy display thing like the bigger stores nearby. It is more about having what people are looking for when they step in from the heat. Usually, we are just chatting amongst ourselves or helping whoever walks through the door from Mukhija Chamber. The lights are a bit bright, and sometimes the AC struggles when it gets really hot outside in Jaipur, but we make do. It feels like a proper local business where you know where everything is even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. We spend most of our day here, from the morning rush until the evening when MI Road finally starts to quiet down a little bit. It's just our way of life, working in the heart of the city.
