Change

Our shop is called Change and we are located in the Golcha Trade Centre at B-22. It’s right on MI Road, which is one of the busiest streets in the city. We are also quite close to Ajmeri Gate and the Bank of India is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. The trade centre is an older building with a lot of history. Our unit is just a small room where we keep everything organized. We’ve been here for a lot of years and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it. We spend our days mostly handling the daily tasks and talking to the other people who work in the building. It’s a lot of the same thing every day. We arrive in the morning and wait for the building to wake up. The traffic noise from MI Road is constant, like a background hum that we don’t even hear anymore. We don’t have any big company goals or anything fancy. We just try to get the work done and keep the place running. Sometimes the elevator in the building is out of service, so we have to walk, but that’s just how it is. It’s a simple life in a busy trade centre. We know the tea man by name and he knows how we like our drink. That’s about it for us.
