We’re over at A-55 in Krishna Nagar II, right behind the New Assembly in the Lal Kothi area of Jaipur. It’s a quiet enough spot most of the time. People come to us when they are thinking about studying in a different country. We spend most of our time looking over school options and trying to figure out which visas are actually possible to get. It’s a lot of reading through fine print and making sure students have their papers in order. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a place where we sit down and talk through the options. Sometimes we have to tell people that their first choice won't work, but then we look for something else that does. Jaipur has a lot of students, so there's always someone coming by with questions. We try to keep it simple and not use a lot of jargon. It’s just about getting the student from here to wherever they want to go for their degree. We deal with the schools, the embassies, and all that stuff so the students don't have to do it alone. It can be a bit tedious with all the back-and-forth, but we’re used to it by now. It’s what we do every day here in the office. We usually have the radio playing low in the background while we work on the folders. It’s a small team here, so we all know what’s going on with every student who walks in.
