Uday International

We are located in Shop No G-36 on the ground floor of Triton Mall in Jhotwara. Being in a mall is a bit different from being on a regular street. Everything is very bright and the air is always cold because of the central cooling. Uday International is one of the many shops you see when you walk in from the main entrance. We have a lot of international-style items and some local things too. It’s a bit of a mix. I spend my days sitting near the front, watching the shoppers go by. Many people just come in to look around because they are waiting for a movie to start or escaping the heat outside. We don't mind. The shop is kept pretty neat because the mall management is strict about that sort of thing. But if you look in the back room, it’s a bit of a different story with all the shipping crates and bubble wrap. Jhotwara is a busy area, so the mall gets packed on the weekends. It’s a long day, usually starting late and ending late at night when the mall finally closes. I eat my dinner in the small back corner of the shop most nights. It’s a clean, modern space, but we try to keep the atmosphere friendly and not too stiff. We aren't a big corporation, just a small outlet inside a big building trying to do our thing.
