TV18 Group is located over at E-12 in Madhuban Colony, which is just off Tonk Road here in Jaipur. If you live around here, you know how busy Tonk Road gets with all the cars and the heat reflecting off the pavement. Madhuban Colony is a bit of a relief from that main road noise, though it still has its own life. We have been at this address for a bit, and it is a pretty standard setup. It is a house-turned-office kind of vibe, which is common in this part of Rajasthan. We do not have any big flashy billboards outside. The building is simple, and inside it is just desks and people working on their computers. In the afternoons, the sun really hits the front of the building, so we keep the blinds down mostly. Sometimes the neighbor's dog barks during our calls, but that is just how it is in a residential colony. We usually grab lunch from the small shops nearby or bring tiffins from home. It is not some high-tech corporate park, just a place in Jaipur where we get our daily tasks done. Getting to work is okay if you beat the morning rush, but Tonk Road is always a gamble. We like being in this part of town because it feels real and not too isolated from the rest of the city. We just show up, do what needs doing at E-12, and head out when the day is over.
