We are New Nabila Bangles Manufacturers, and our workshop is located at 18 Thipolia Bazar. The bazar is a very crowded place, full of colors and noise, which is perfect for what we do. We make bangles here, mostly by hand or using small tools that have been in the family for a long time. It’s a traditional kind of work. The shop is narrow and the walls are lined with boxes of glass and metal pieces. We spend our days sitting on low stools, working on the designs. Sometimes the heat from the small furnaces makes the room quite warm, but we’re used to it. Thipolia Bazar is famous for this kind of thing, so we fit right in with the other craftsmen. We don’t have a big marketing plan or a sales team. We just display our work in the front window and wait for people to come by. Often, it's wholesalers who buy in bulk, but we also sell to individuals who are looking for something for a wedding or a festival. The floors are often covered in tiny bits of glitter or broken glass, which we sweep up at the end of the day. It’s hard work on the eyes and the hands, but there’s a sense of pride in seeing the finished bangles. We’ve been at number 18 for many years now and the neighbors all know us. We take our tea outside when it gets too stuffy inside. It’s just how life goes for us here in the market.
