Tradewel

Tradewel is located at 4K A29 in Jawahar Nagar. It’s a fairly quiet street compared to the main roads, which we actually prefer for getting things done. Our office isn't very big, but it has enough room for our desks and the old filing cabinets that have been with us since we started. Most mornings start with the sound of the neighbor’s gate opening and the local vendors passing by. We keep a simple routine here. We unlock the doors, get the computers running, and start going through whatever came in the day before. The internet can be a bit temperamental sometimes, so we just have to be patient. There’s a small kitchen area in the back where we make our own tea. We don't have a big reception area or any shiny logos on the walls. Most of the people who come by are folks we’ve known for a long time. The afternoon sun usually shines right through the front window around three o’clock, making it a bit bright, but it’s a nice view of the street. We just focus on the practical side of things. There’s no big management hierarchy here, just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. It’s a straightforward way to work and it suits the way we like to do things. We don't feel the need to make things more complicated than they actually are.
