Karnataka State Agricultural Marketing Board

We are based up on the first floor at D101 in Anaj Mandi. Being right here in Chandpole means we are in the middle of all the market activity every day. It gets pretty loud downstairs with the trucks and vendors, but that is just how it is around here. We handle the paperwork and coordination for the Karnataka State Agricultural Marketing Board side of things. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we know the layout of the mandi like the back of our hands. It is not a fancy office by any means. We have old desks and a lot of files stacked up, but it works for what we need to do. People come in and out all day asking about market rates or where they need to drop off their produce. Sometimes the fans do not work right when it gets really hot in the afternoon, but we just open the windows and keep going. We deal with farmers and traders mostly, so there is always someone waiting in the hallway. We try to keep things moving so nobody is stuck standing around for too long. If you are looking for us, just head up the stairs past the main gate area. We are usually here from early morning until the main market starts winding down in the evening. It is a busy place, but we like being right where the action is.
