Raj Exporters

Raj Exporters is tucked away at Gh-23 in Shiv Katla, right by Suraj Pole in the Anajmandi area. Being near the grain market means it’s always loud and there are trucks moving around constantly. It’s a gritty part of town but it’s where all the action is for what we do. We spend our days dealing with exports, which sounds a lot more glamorous than it actually is. Mostly it’s just a lot of paperwork and making sure the crates are loaded properly. Our office is small and gets a bit dusty because of all the activity outside in the mandi. We’ve been here for years now. We know the other shop owners around Suraj Pole and we usually grab tea from the same spot every morning. It’s not the kind of place with a lobby or a receptionist. You just walk in and find us working. We don't have time for a lot of extras. We just want to make sure the goods get to where they're supposed to go without any trouble. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes the office feel a bit cramped, but we've got a couple of fans going to keep the air moving. It’s honest work and we take it as it comes. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to keep the business steady and the orders moving through the gate every single day of the work week.
