Trade & Trade- Rajasthan Trade Centre

Bais Godam is a busy place to be, and that is exactly where we are set up. Being part of the Rajasthan Trade Centre means we are right in the middle of all the industrial movement. Most days are spent surrounded by stacks of boxes and piles of paperwork that never seem to get any smaller. It gets really dusty around here because of all the trucks moving in and out of the godowns nearby. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is mostly just a practical space where we handle the trading business. The fans hum all day long trying to move the heavy air around, especially during the summer months when it feels like an oven inside. We talk to a lot of different people, from truck drivers to other traders, and there is always some sort of negotiation or logistical problem to solve. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is quiet enough to hear the traffic on the main road. We just take things as they come. It is not the most glamorous work, and our clothes usually end up looking a bit worn by the end of the day, but it is what we do. We have been in Bais Godam for quite some time now, and we know the rhythms of the market. It is just about showing up and getting the job done without complaining too much.
