Even though our parent company is a huge name, our office here at 66(A), Rameshwaram in Tonk, Rajasthan, is a lot more local and modest. We handle the business of The Times Of India Group Company from this specific spot. It’s not a skyscraper with a shiny lobby. It is just a functional building where we deal with the distribution and the local advertising for the area. Tonk is a steady place, and our office reflects that. We have a small crew of people who show up every day to make sure everything is running the way it should. There’s no corporate jargon or big meetings about vision here. We mostly just talk about what needs to happen by the end of the day. The office has plenty of desks and a lot of old newspapers stacked in the corners. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the Rajasthan climate, and the air conditioning doesn't always reach every single corner, but we get by just fine. People from the neighborhood sometimes drop in to place a small ad or just to ask a question about something they read. We’ve been at this address for quite a while, and we’re part of the daily routine in the 302015 area. We drink our tea, answer the phones, and keep the work moving. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people doing their jobs without any extra fuss or polish.
