The Rajputana Textiles

If you’re near the Hotel Rajputana Palace, you’ll find us right outside the main entrance on Palace Road. The Rajputana Textiles has been sitting here for quite a while. It’s a great spot because of all the people going in and out of the hotel. Palace Road is always humming with activity. We have a lot of fabrics and textiles piled up inside. It’s a bit colorful and messy, to be honest. We spend most of our time showing people different patterns and feeling the weight of the cloth. We don’t use any high-tech systems here. We just know where everything is kept, even if it looks like a jumble to someone else. The dust from the road comes in sometimes when the door is open, so we’re always dusting things off. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. We rely on the fact that people see us when they’re walking to the hotel. It’s a simple business. We like the textiles we sell and we know a lot about how they’re made. Sometimes the heat on Palace Road is a bit much, but the shop stays relatively cool. We’re just a local business trying to make a living. No fancy speeches or big promises, just fabric and a place to sit and look at it. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock.
