The Lawrence Public School

If you know the V T Road crossing near New Sanganer Road, you know exactly where we are located. It is a busy corner of Mansarovar, and there is always traffic moving past the gates. Our school sits right there, taking in the energy of Jaipur every day. Inside, the hallways are long and the floors are swept every morning before the sun gets too high. We have a lot of rooms for different classes, and they all have that specific smell of paper and old books. The 302020 area has grown a lot, but this spot stays pretty much the same. We have a big gate that opens up to let the students in, and then it stays shut to keep the noise of the road out as much as possible. The staff room is usually a mess of tea cups and lesson plans. We don't have fancy carpets or shiny statues, just a lot of space for learning and running around. The playground gets a lot of use, and you can see where the grass has worn away from too many feet. It is a practical place. We focus on the daily routines, from the morning assembly to the final bell in the afternoon. People often stop by just to ask for directions because of our location at the crossing. It is a landmark for some, but for us, it is just where the day's work happens.
