About The Indian Public Secondary School – Education in Jaipur
We are located in Hazrat Ali Colony, which is right by Ramgarh Mode on Amer Road. It’s a busy part of Jaipur, especially with all the tourists heading up toward the fort. Back in the colony where we are, it’s a bit more residential. The school is at number 108. It’s a place where you’ll see kids from the neighborhood walking to school every morning with their bags. The building is tucked away from the main road noise. This is good for when classes are going on. We have been here for a good amount of time and people in the area know us well. The classrooms are filled with the usual stuff like benches, desks, and chalkboards. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit. We just carry on with the lessons anyway. During the winter, the mornings are quite cold and the kids come wrapped in their sweaters. By the afternoon, it warms up and everyone is ready to head home. We don't have a giant playground. There is enough space for the students to move around during their breaks though. The staff room is usually where you’ll find a couple of teachers marking papers or having their lunch. It’s a very grounded kind of place. There are no big flashy signs. Just our name on the wall so people can find us when they are looking for the colony address. Most of us have lived in Jaipur our whole lives. We are used to how things work here.
