The Call Center

The Call Center is situated in Malviya Nagar, specifically in Sector 2. This is an office where the phones are almost always ringing. It is not a huge corporate floor but a local setup where several of us sit at our desks with headsets on for most of the shift. The atmosphere is generally focused and a bit noisy with the sound of different conversations happening at once. We spend our time answering questions and helping people over the phone from our spot in Sector 2. Malviya Nagar is a busy part of the city and there are plenty of places nearby to grab a quick snack during our breaks. Inside, the desks are lined up and each one has its own computer and mess of wires. We try to keep things organized but when it gets busy, papers tend to pile up a bit. It is practical work that requires us to stay calm even when the caller on the other end is frustrated. We are just a group of local people doing a job that involves a lot of talking and listening. The air conditioning hums in the background to keep the equipment cool while we go through our daily lists. It is a simple office life without any of the fancy perks you might see elsewhere. We just come in, do the work, and head home.
