The Bar Academy

The Bar Academy is located at C-61 in the Lalkothi area of Jaipur. It’s a place where there is always the sound of glass clinking and liquid pouring. We have a long counter that has been used for a lot of practice sessions over the months. The room is filled with different types of bottles, most of them filled with colored water for training purposes. It’s not a real bar where you come to drink, but it looks a lot like one. The floor can get a bit sticky if someone spills something, so we are always keeping a mop nearby. We have some stools that have seen better days and the padding is a bit worn out on a few of them. There isn't much in the way of decoration, just some shelves and the equipment we need. Lalkothi is a pretty central spot, so it’s easy for people to get here. The sun comes through the window in the afternoon and hits the glassware, making the whole place look a bit brighter for a couple of hours. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. You just walk in and you are right in the middle of the training area. It’s a functional space where people come to learn a specific trade. We keep things pretty relaxed here and don't worry too much about being formal. It’s just a dedicated spot in Jaipur where we spend our hours working with the tools of the bar trade.
