You can find us at 2, Maya Mansion, right across from the G.P.O. on M.I. Road. It’s a very busy area, especially with all the people coming and going from the post office all day long. Tco Handicrafts isn't a big, polished operation. Our rooms are usually filled with boxes, bubble wrap, and items waiting to be sorted through. We don't have a fancy display area because we focus more on getting the items ready for wherever they need to go next. The building itself is quite old, so the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you’re carrying heavy crates. We don't really have a formal dress code or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable for moving things around and getting a bit dusty. Most of our time is spent checking the quality of the handicrafts and making sure they are packed well. We drink a lot of tea while we work and listen to the sounds of the traffic outside. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we find a rhythm in it. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in the business. We just want to keep things moving and make sure our suppliers are happy. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place where we just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized. There is always a lot to do and not enough hours in the day.
