Tara Handicrafts

Tara Handicrafts is located at D-2/362 in the Chitrakoot area of Vaishali Nagar. It’s a nice part of town, though it’s grown a lot since we first moved in. Our workspace is really just a few rooms where we keep all the items we’re working on. You’ll usually see things spread out on the floor or on the low tables we have set up. It is a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how it goes when you’re handling so many different pieces. We don't have a big neon sign or anything like that outside. Most people just know us by the address D-2/362. We spend a lot of time just checking the details on the crafts to make sure they aren’t broken or chipped. The light in the front room is pretty good in the mornings, so that’s where we do most of the inspection work. We have a small team, mostly people from the local neighborhood who walk over. It’s a very grounded kind of place. We don’t go in for fancy talk or complicated systems. We just write things down in the register and keep moving. Sometimes we sit out on the porch for a break when the weather is nice. It’s a quiet life in Vaishali Nagar, and we just focus on getting the handicrafts ready for whoever ordered them. There’s always something to wrap or box up. We hope the monsoon stays away for a while.
