We are located over at 2-J-19 in Jawahar Nagar, which is a pretty well-known part of Jaipur. This is where Sunit Kumar Gupta runs things for Taj Imports,Inc. It’s a typical Jaipur neighborhood, with lots of activity and that specific Rajasthan heat in the middle of the day. The office isn’t huge, but it fits everything we need. We have shelves filled with catalogs and samples from various places. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we get a new shipment in and have to find space for it all. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy descriptions for us. It’s just us handling the paperwork and talking to people on the phone. The floors are stone, which helps keep the place a bit cooler when the sun is beating down on the street outside. We usually have a pitcher of cold water on the main table. Most of the day is spent tracking orders and making sure the details are correct. You won't find any corporate slogans on our walls. Instead, we have a few calendars and some notes pinned up so we don't forget things. It’s a very hands-on kind of environment. People stop by sometimes just to say hello or ask a question. We like being in Jawahar Nagar because it feels like being part of a community rather than just an isolated business park. It’s a simple, hardworking atmosphere here every day.
