Tulsi Distributors is over in Vidhyadhar Nagar, specifically at Central Spine number 6. It’s a pretty central location, which helps with getting things moved around town. Our space is mostly just shelves and boxes. We spend a lot of time checking lists and loading up the tempo in the mornings. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it needs to be done right so the shops get their stock. The office part is just a small cabin in the back where we keep the invoices. It can get a bit stuffy in there when the sun hits the building. We aren't a huge operation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team of us who know where every box goes. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic on the main road, but that’s just life in the city. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big sign out front. Most of our clients have been with us for years and they just call us up. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, the floor gets covered in packing tape and cardboard scraps. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making sure the goods get from point A to point B without too much trouble. It’s a steady job and we like the people we work with here. By the time five o'clock rolls around, we’re usually ready to head home and do it all again tomorrow.
